Those facing homelessness want what we all want; a place to call home, a place to raise children, a place to work, and the opportunity to provide a good life for their families. Beyond meeting the basic needs of shelter, food and clothing, a gift today will help us enhance our Education and Employment program, expand Supportive Housing services, and ensure our facilities are safe and sustained.

Hope Starters
As a Hope Starter, you’re ensuring women and children have a safe place to sleep, food on the table, and hygiene necessities available every day at YWCA. You’ll know you’ve answered a critical need each and every month.
It’s easy for you: no writing checks, no postage, no worries – just the joy of knowing that your care is continually reaching vulnerable women and children in our community. Automatic monthly giving makes us stronger in our mission by reducing administrative time and helping us predictably plan for the future. Hope Starters may give any amount as long as it is on a recurring basis; you may change the value, cancel, or temporarily hold payments, if necessary, by logging into your account or with a call or email to our office.

Stock Gifts
A self-sustaining source of funding that provides a sense of security long term.
Benefit: Your gift to a qualified ND endowment is a charitable deduction for federal income tax purposes and qualifies for a 40% ND state tax credit if the gift is $5,000 or more.

Bequests
A distribution from your estate to the YWCA through your last will and testament and/or a beneficiary designation.
Benefit: If your estate is subject to estate tax, you are entitled to an estate tax charitable deduction. A gift of an IRA avoids income tax liability associated with IRAs.
